Hiho,
my name is Wame and this is my Gorkshop!
This site is dedicated to the miniatures hobby and serves first of all as place for showing pictures of my works and representing me. It is therefore kept quite simple ;D
I was born in 1981 and am living in northern Germany. I'm hooked to the hobby for several years now and am still enjoying it very much. My interest for the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genre has established early. I loved to read series like Battletech, Shadowrun and Dragonlance but always tended to prefer the futuristic side of things. One of my favourite writers is William Gibson, whose books have a unique atmosphere which is seldom reached by other writers.
The interest in miniatures came along with the first games of Warhammer 40.000, although I also played a lot of Battletech Tabletop and RPG too in the beginning. We are running a very nice RPG party for some years here now, having a lot of fun playing the kewl system EARTHDAWN. Despite the fact that I am painting miniatures and models for such a long time now, I am still not satisfied about the level of skill I have developed until now, so theres only one thing to do: painting and building more stuff! Current projects are three Wh40k Armies: Desert Theme Imperial Guard at playable size, Dark Angels successor chapter also at playable size now and some 'Nids I dont really got started with yet. In Warhammer Fantasy battles I field Skaven and I have a box full of Warzone Capitol Troops still to be done for the table.
I will paint miniatures and build/paint scale models on commission, though I am not offering a general painting service. If there is something that catches your eye or if you want something painted specially, just ask for a price. I will do some scale model things soon and hopefully have some time for what I really liked to do for a long time, building my own spacecrafts. So watch out the galleries for stuff like that in the future. Hopefully I will get my hands on some more nice kits soon like the MaschinenKrieger Designs of Kow Yokoyama.
